Ball Clay 13.6
Kaolin 27.3
Silica 13.6
+ Mag. Carb 0.25
  • Dissolve borax in boiling water.
  • Must rest for 24 hours before using.
  • Can sieve through an 80 mesh screen and thin to heavy cream consistency to spray.

Water 3.5 Gallons (15.9 liters)
Sodium Silicate 1 tbsp
Soda Ash 1 tbsp
XX Saggar Clay 15 lbs (6.8kg)
  • Mix ingredients and wait one‐day siphon off top layer of water and use only the middle 1.5 gallons
  • Using this more as a slip for spraying not as concerned with it being like a sig.
