| Gerstley Borate | 9.1 |
| Frit 3110 | 31.9 |
| Ball Clay | 13.6 |
| Kaolin | 27.3 |
| Silica | 13.6 |
| + Mag. Carb | 0.25 |
- Dissolve borax in boiling water.
- Must rest for 24 hours before using.
- Can sieve through an 80 mesh screen and thin to heavy cream consistency to spray.
Riggs Terra Sigilata

| Sodium Silicate | 1 tbsp |
| Soda Ash | 1 tbsp |
| XX Saggar Clay | 15 lbs (6.8kg) |
- Mix ingredients and wait one‐day siphon off top layer of water and use only the middle 1.5 gallons
- Using this more as a slip for spraying not as concerned with it being like a sig.
